Stainless Steel Introduce
Inconel 686 is suitable for use in amphoteric acids or amphoteric mixed acids, especially in corrosive environments containing high concentrations of chloride ions in amphoteric mixed acids. It has excellent resistance to uniform corrosion, electrochemical corrosion, localized corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement in seawater, and seawater has little effect on its fatigue strength. Therefore, Inconel686 alloy is an ideal material for marine environment applications, such as fasteners in seawater. The yield strength after cold working strengthening can be as high as 150ksi (1000MPa), and it has the same corrosion resistance as the solid solution state. Inconel 686 alloy is used in corrosive environments such as chemical process, pollution control (flue gas desulfurization), papermaking, pharmaceutical and garbage disposal. Inconel686 welding material is an ideal corrosion-resistant material for surfacing of steel.
