Stainless Steel Introduce
Haynes 718 Alloy is a high-temperature, high-strength nickel-based alloy developed by Haynes International. It has excellent oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature strength, and is widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments in aerospace, energy, chemical, petroleum, and natural gas industries.
The chemical composition of Haynes 718 Alloy includes approximately 52% nickel, 19% chromium, 3% titanium, 5% aluminum, about 0.9% iron, and trace amounts of carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, copper, and tantalum. This combination of elements gives Haynes 718 Alloy its excellent high-temperature performance. In addition, Haynes 718 Alloy uses advanced heat treatment processes, which can further improve its high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance.
Haynes 718 Alloy can be made into various shapes of products, such as sheets, rods, pipes, forgings, castings, and welding materials, etc. Its mechanical properties improve with increasing temperature, and it can maintain high strength and toughness at high temperatures ranging from 600°C to 980°C. In addition, Haynes 718 Alloy has excellent oxidation resistance and can withstand high-temperature oxidation environments for a long time.
Haynes 718 alloy is an important nickel-based superalloy used in high-temperature applications such as gas turbine engines. Below are the standards for Haynes 718 alloy in various countries:
